2019 Arizona Biosecurity Workshop
This two-day workshop will focus on community engagement with biosecurity in an applied and practical manner.
It will bring together biosafety and biosecurity professionals from across the nation to discuss:
- Biological information security.
- Emergence of synthetic viruses.
- Ethical quandaries in biotechnology
- Disaster preparedness, do-it-yourself biology and international collaborations.
This event is in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Environmental Health and Safety and the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions.
This is a free event, but an RSVP is required. RSVP by Nov. 22.
