Amber McCrary Zine Workshop

Learn how to make a zine! 

Join this virtual workshop, hosted by the ASU Library Labriola Center, as we learn about zine aesthetics, such as collage art in zines, and learn the process of cutting and pasting poems and stories into a zine. This workshop will feature Amber McCrary, creator of DANG! and Electric Deserts!

Originally from Shonto, AZ, and raised in Flagstaff, AZ, Amber McCrary is Red House Clan born for Mexican people. She earned her BA from Arizona State University in political science with a minor in American Indian studies, and received her MFA in creative writing with an emphasis in poetry at Mills College in Oakland, CA. She recently released a chapbook of poetry titled, "Electric Deserts!"(Tolsun Books). She currently resides in Mesa, AZ.
