About the Films:
"Wadjda"
Wadjda tells the remarkable story of a 10-year-old girl who dreams of owning a bicycle against the wishes of her mother and society in general. In a country where cinemas are banned and no feature film has ever been made, "Wadjda" is the first ever film to be shot entirely in Saudi Arabia and the first feature length film made by a female Saudi director.
"Theeb"
Oscar nominated for best foreign language film, “A young Bedouin boy uses his nascent survival skills to outwit potential enemies in Theeb, a classic adventure film of the best kind, and one thats rarely seen these days.”
