ASU Center for American Institutions Launch
The newly created ASU Center for American Institutions will officially launch on Friday, Oct. 14 with an invitation to the public to attend an in-person event to learn more.
The ASU Center for American Institutions has a single nonpartisan mission:
The fostering and renewal of foundational American institutions including civic, religious, legal, financial, military and political through undergraduate education and public outreach to reinstate the public’s faith and commitment to preserving these institutions.
Building on the success of, and incorporating the existing Political History and Leadership program, the new center will provide an opportunity to expand teaching and community outreach while integrating a focused research component in American institutions.
Affiliated faculty and teaching fellows will continue to teach undergraduate students, offer a high school leadership academy, and provide community focused lectures and discussion forums.
This launch event will feature comments by ASU President Michael Crow, Arizona Board of Regents’ Jessica Pacheco, Arizona Supreme Court Justice Bill Montgomery, Ingrid Gregg, center Director Donald Critchlow and Associate Director Jonathan Barth, and will include a keynote address by self-proclaimed Professor in Exile Bret Weinstein.
