Solo Performance: Pathways to radical self and community reimagination
AZ ArtWorker theater workshop with Asantewa Sunni-Ali
With an opening presentation by Fatimah Hallim, this theatre workshop is limited to 20 participants and costs $12. Participants will learn how to use solo performance as a tool for personal and performed liberation.

Black artistic leaders talk about their work in Arizona in theatre, visual art and film
Lead by Mujeres del Sol, this panel brings together black arts leaders from Arizona who have pioneered artistic practices in the state. Panelists include David Hemphill (Black Theatre Troupe), Fatimah Halim (Educator and performer), Yovani Flores (Mujeres del Sol) and Ebone Johnson (Rejected Thrifts).

A talk about the importance of arts to the Black Lives Matter movement
Tia Oso is an organizer and leader of Black Association for Just Immigration. She will speak about the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the role the arts play in social and political organizing.
