Dia de los Muertos Celebration

This event is a tribute to our ancestors, as well as iconic individuals who have paved a pathway for success and growth within the Latinx and Chicanx community. Keeping true to the roots of the event, it will showcase traditional elements such as the alter, pan de muerto and aguas frescas. There will also be educative, yet fun activities such as skull making, DIY picture frames that will be placed on the altar, performances and guest speakers.

We intend this event to be a fully immersive experience for all students and community members to not only enjoy, but as an avenue to learn more about our communities and culture as a way to raise social awareness.
