EGSS: Getting Into Graduate School

Community of Scholars programming offers professional development opportunities to all graduate students at ASU.

Are you considering graduate school? The Exploring Graduate School Seminars (EGSS) series, offered by ASU Graduate College in conjunction with our campus partners, provide prospective graduate students with tools and resources to be a successful graduate school applicant, either at ASU or elsewhere.

This seminar is a general overview about applying to graduate school. It is intended for all majors and does not focus on one particular program. It will provide tools and resources on how to decide if graduate school is right for you, how to choose schools and what's needed to market yourself to graduate programs as a desired candidate. Cost: Free and open to the public.

This session is the first of three EGSS presentations scheduled on this date. Don't forget to also register for our other sessions: "Writing a Personal Statement" and "Financing Grad School!"
