Join the Arizona State University Library Map and Geospatial Hub for this two-hour workshop introducing geographic information system (GIS) technology with open source software. 

We'll be using QGIS, a powerful, easy-to-use, free and open source software platform.

Note: Those bringing their own laptops will need to install the following free, open-source software applications:

• QGIS: http://www.qgis.org/en/site/forusers/download.html
• Meshlab: http://www.meshlab.net/#download
