Kristen Schneider: Intimately

Kristen Schneider: Intimately

Many struggle with emotional connection, and physical intimacy. This exhibit forces viewers to experience an interaction that makes them vulnerable. During a time of emotional development, I took the opportunity to address my own issues with emotional intimacy by pursuing it in physical form. Where feelings cannot be expressed fully, they can often be better conveyed visually and tactiley. The exhibition will include digital photo and video projections, archival prints, durational performance and interactive sculptural installations. While exposing private moments to the audience, and forcing them to take on a voyeuristic perspective of discomfort is inevitable.
