Let’s Talk: Lived Experience in Academia

These workshops will engage in decolonial, anti-racist and feminist pedagogies to reveal the differential lived experience of some in academia. The workshops will ask, why do some experience academia as a hostile environment? Why do some continue to experience trauma in academia, despite commitments to advancing diversity and inclusion? And how do these lived experiences maintain inequalities and injustices in academia?
