Advanced Standing MSW Information Session & Application Workshop

MSW Program Options at the West Valley campus

This session is designed to give current Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students and recent BSW graduates an inside look at the Advanced Standing Master of Social Work (MSW) program at the West Valley campus, connect you directly with the Arizona State University social work community, and help you navigate

Humanities classrooms have always — sometimes without realizing it— partnered reasoning and feeling, offering their students what we might call “embodied intelligence” as a form of expertise. Now more than ever, the world needs this humanist skill. This talk will draw on Mesle’s new writing guide to consider how humanist writers, teachers, and students can develop practical strategies to bind the writing we love to the world building we need.

The Interdisciplinary Arts & Performance (IAP) program is proud to present a new exhibition, Jimmy Smith: Model Glue & Other Bad Influences... A Cautionary Tale. This exhibit will feature vivid Hot Rod car designs and illustrations by the internationally renowned, Glendale-based artist Jimmy Smith. The exhibition will feature drawings, illustrations, graphics, models, and other artworks that celebrate Hot Rod culture and showcase its unique multidisciplinary artforms.

Celebrate the season with Sun Devil spirit!
Join the West Valley campus community as we represent Arizona State University in the annual Glendale Hometown Holiday Parade. Walk alongside Sparky, students, faculty, and staff through downtown Glendale while spreading holiday cheer and candy to young spectators along the seven-block route.

What to wear
Show your Sun Devil pride by wearing maroon and gold. If you have a West Valley Forward T-shirt, please wear it and don’t forget your big smile!

The ASU Staff Council Sustainability Program is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Clothing Drive and Clothing Closet! To make this even possible we are looking for the ASU community to host a “donation box” to collect donation items for the Fashion Forward Open Closet event. Donation boxes can be for the larger ASU community to donate to or just for your department or office, you get to decide.

Share the gift of reading!

Join the ASU Library in making a lasting impact through our Book Drive supporting local school-aged children. Together, we can help kids discover the joy of reading, strengthen their literacy skills and open new worlds through books.

We’re collecting new and gently used books (grades K–6) for the United Way “Book in a Bag” program and a local elementary school from November 4 to December 6.
