Award-winning playwright Y York visits ASU West Valley’s campus for a one-week workshop of a new play titled “Becoming Awesome.” Local actors and ASU students will participate in a four-night rehearsal process directed by visiting guest director Mark Lutwak. Then, they will “perform” a reading of the play (i.e., without costumes, sets, and staging) on Friday and Saturday evenings March 28 & 29 @ 7:00 pm in Second Stage West. This week-long process will involve York making edits and adjustments to develop the play toward a final version, to which participants will contribute.
