Moving Narratives

Moving Narratives, storyboarding and animation

"Moving Narratives" is an exploration into the worlds of storyboarding and animation.

The animation program at the School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts is designed around a fine arts foundation with core animation classes in 2D and 3D techniques and principles. The flexible program draws on the other area strengths within the School of Art, allowing exploration in stop motion, animation and video and special effects. Students will also find many courses in the Herberger Institute’s Sidney Poitier New American Film School dovetail with our curriculum. Faculty support a wide range of career goals from commercial aspirations to conceptual independent artist animation films.

Join the artists for the opening reception on Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 5–7 p.m.
