Nicholas A. Salerno: An Evening of Remembrance

Friends will gather to honor ASU professor eEmeritus and former Department of English chair Nicholas "Nick" Salerno, who passed away on March 15, 2016. The event will include remembrances by former students and colleagues as well as screenings from Nick's television show "Cinema Classics," which aired on Arizona's PBS affiliate during the 1970s.

Harkins Theatres, the ASU Department of English, and many friends of Nick Salerno collaborated to plan this evening. All are welcome. Free parking with validation is available at the City Hall Parking Garage located at 510 S. Forest Ave. in Tempe.

Robrt Pela, a local theater and film critic and a close friend of Nick's, will host the event. If you would like to share a memory about Nick during the evening, please inform us in your RSVP.
