How is nature nurturing you during this uncertain time?
In celebration of Earth Day, let's turn hardship into kinship. Celebrate with us by reveling in the ways nature nurtures our spirits and creates a sense of unconditional belonging even in times when we must practice social distancing.
Select a comfortable spot in your backyard, front patio or inside near a plant or open window for this online gathering. We will share what we find nurturing about our chosen spaces and what we have begun to notice about nature that we missed out on before.
The event will open and close with meditative practices from our partners at ASU's Mindfulness Center to set a tone of deep and contemplative conversations about the earth and its communities. We will also discuss how this period of sheltering in place is positively impacting the earth's systems, and potentially helping to reframe our assumptions about our ability to live in greater harmony with nature.
This online gathering is free, but registration is required.
