Opening Reception for "Aaron Allen Marner: Life Beyond Measure" and Black History Month

artistic redendition of african-american

ArtSpace West features the work of Aaron Allen Marner in an exhibition titled “Life Beyond Measure.” This Arizona visual artist has sought to capture and express his own experience as an African American artist. With his most recent work, he reflects on experiences from the last two years, including the pandemic, loss, racial dilemmas and personal relationships but also how faith, work ethic and self-belief have led him to where he is now. This installation opens on Thursday, Feb. 3, with a reception to celebrate the opening of Black History Month beginning at 7 p.m. and then will continue in the gallery through Feb. 24. ArtSpace West is open Mondays through Thursdays from 12–5pm.
