Performance in the Borderlands: Feminist Futures in the Borderlands

Join ASU Performance in the Borderlands for a dynamic and urgent conversation featuring artists working across borders on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. "Feminist Futures in the Borderlands" brings together women/femme artists who have collaborated on the Binational Arts Residency, a nationally recognized arts residency building cultural flows between Arizona, U.S. and Sonora, MX. Together their work highlights dance, theatre, visual and media arts. They will discuss opportunities for binational artistic work at the U.S./MX border, and potential of feminist artistic interventions to create symbolic and political shift.
