Performance with a View Presents Tchaikovsky Piano Trio

Please join outstanding graduate students from the Arizona State University School of Music as they present Tchaikovsky's monumental "Piano Trio," written to commemorate the death of his friend and mentor, Nikolai Rubinstein, founder of the Moscow Conservatory.

This powerful work is a celebration of life and friendship and the difficulty we all have saying goodbye during a time of grief. Pianist Po Hsun Chen, violinist Aihua Zhang and cellist Wesley Skinner are all on the cusp of outstanding professional careers, and they present this incredible work with commentary on the composer and his friend.
