PRISMS Contemporary Music Festival 2016 - NOISE SPECTRA Concert 2
The seventh annual Contemporary Music Festival focuses on Spectral and Noise Music.
The ASU Contemporary Music Festival is an annual event offering the highest quality performances of experimental music in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The festivals comprise themed concerts and showcase music that is rarely performed along with pre-concert talks, round tables, and film screenings. Through these festivals we promote the view that music is a living tradition — an exciting and vibrant part of modern life — and pass on that belief by combining performances with informative lectures and discussions for the general public.
The series is dedicated to Karlheinz Stockhausen (2009), Iannis Xenakis (2011), John Cage (2012), Microtonality (2013), Minimalisms (2014) and Pierre Boulez (2015).
Tickets: $9 general admission $5 students. Order tickets for three or more events per person by Sept. 15 and save 25%!
