This program is designed to empower male participants to make safer choices when confronted with aggressive behavior. It is a minimum nine-hour program, 12 hours with simulation.
Participants will have the following opportunities:
- consider how they can be part of reducing aggression and violence
- learn steps to avoid aggressive behavior
- learn to resist and escape aggressive behavior directed toward them.
- practice hands-on self-defense skills
- raise their awareness of aggressive behavior
- recognize how aggressive behavior impacts their lives
Participants should wear comfortable workout-type attire and athletic or tennis shoes. No sandals or flip-flops.
