Remixing America's Culinary Heritage

Maya's Cajun Cooking

African American cuisine is one of the cornerstones of the American culinary experience. Come join Chef Maya Bartlett for a hands-on journey exploring how these culinary roots shape how we eat today and could eat in the future. During this event we will watch the second episode of Netflix's High on the Hog, chat with Chef Maya about her own experience remixing Cajun cuisine while doing a hands-on demonstration, then taste a bit of American culinary heritage, re-imagined through Chef Maya's commitment to building a better planet.  All food is vegan. This event is designed for ASU students.
