Social Hues

Social Hues BFA Exhibition

SOCIAL CUES: verbal or non-verbal signals expressed through the face, body, voice and motion to guide conversations as well as other social interactions by influencing our impressions of and responses to others.

“Social Hues” is a BFA exhibition featuring the works of Devin Carreon, Yezi Dai, Mia Rios, Yuanhao Tang and Maria Varela. This band of intermedia artists seeks to investigate the human connections that bind us all together through their own respective mediums. From character design and vast phantasmic landscapes to abstraction and figurative work, they pursue a deeper answer to the world around them through the art they create. Through inviting others to accompany their vision and expressions of the self, they hope to bring more awareness to the societal connections near and far.

Gallery occupancy is limited to allow for social distancing. Face coverings are required in campus buildings and outdoor spaces. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m.
