Student Operetta: 'Reverend Stormfield Goes to Heaven'

Student composer Dale Sakamoto presents "Reverend Stormfield Goes to Heaven," a satirical journey through heaven, as the Reverend discovers heaven is much different from what she anticipated. 

Based on the similarly named Mark Twain short story, the operetta offers a philosophical and comical look at current evangelical church culture, the hypocrisies of religion, and the qualities that manifest in a truly pious person. A composer Q&A follows the performance.
