Meet Daniel Bernardi, Iraq War veteran, previously of Arizona State University and now cultural studies scholar and documentary filmmaker in the School of Conema at San Francisco State University.

He directs the Veterans Documentary corps, which facilitates greater understsanding of civerse personalities, struggles, and successes that define the veteran experience through the art of documentary filmmaking.

He will screen several short documentaries about Vietnam and military veterans of more recent service, and you are invited to join the conversation with a class about representation and narration of gender, race, and ethnicity in film, television, and popular culture.
