Walled City Music Festival Closing Gala Concert

Walled City Music Festival Closing Gala Concert

This concert is a stunning collaboration of music and dance performed by Arizona State University music and dance students, faculty and alumni and is the closing concert of the Walled City Music Festival. Music, dance, poetry and film are compiled into seven unique projects connecting Irish arts and artists with local ASU and ASU-associated artists. Irish traditional folk music is fused with hip-hop and modern dance, Irish contemporary music is fused with modern and salsa-influenced dance, and a work by Daniel Bernard Roumain is fused with post-modern dance.

Arizona State University Music and Dance Faculty participating in this event include Daniel Bernard Roumain (violin), Christopher Creviston (saxophone), Hannah Creviston (piano), Jiji Kim (electric guitar), Cathal Breslin (piano) and Sabrina Hu (flute), Carley Condor, Mary Fitzgerald, Jorge Magana (House), David Olarte, Eileen Standley and Keith Thompson.

The concert video is available free on March 28 at 1 p.m. AZ time and onwards on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuayln4vPE74cgxPFLVmfPg) and the Walled City Music Festival website (https://walledcitymusic.com/wcmf/programme/).
