XSEDE Big Data Hands-On Summer Bootcamp
Arizona State University Research Computing is collaborating with Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) and Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center to host a free, four-day, hands-on Big Data summer bootcamp for faculty members, staff and students on Monday through Thursday, June 4–7.
Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of MPI, OpenMP, OpenACC and accelerators that could run on either XSEDE’s and/or ASU’s high-performance computing environments.
Attendees will be invited to join a three-week special hybrid exercise contest, vying for the fifth annual XSEDE Summer Boot Camp Championship trophy!
XSEDE is the most advanced, powerful and robust collection of integrated digital resources and services in the world. It is a single virtual system that scientists and researchers can use to interactively share computing resources, data and expertise. XSEDE integrates the resources and services, makes them easier to use, and helps more people use them.
