"YouMeWe" is the result of the graduate seminar, Printing and Collaboration. During the seminar, students focused on the conceptual, theoretical, and experimental approaches related to methods of collaboration in contemporary art and printmaking practices. We focused on three main types of collaboration: group collaboration, peer to peer collaboration and professional and external invited artist collaboration. Students gained a working knowledge of professional collaborative practices; potentials and pitfalls of stylistic and historical references in their work and the work of their collaborator; and various strategies of preparatory approaches.
