Harry Wood Gallery is pleased to present this year’s Winter BFA Juried Show. In this annual exhibition, BFA students from all levels and areas of the ASU School of Art program are eligible to apply. Students showcase work ranging from animation, ceramics, painting, drawing, expanded arts, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles. This year's exhibition is juried by Ryan Takaba, Clinical Asst Professor, School of Art

About the juror:
Ryan Takaba is a material-based artist whose sculptures, tableaux, and installations are centered around a study of scientific reason and the power of belief, incorporating thematic materials -flowers, ash, wax, and water.  Takaba earned an MFA in Ceramics from Kent State University and a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Hawai`i.  A few notable grants and residencies are from The European Ceramic Work Center -Netherlands, The Kunstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin -Germany, and Artpace -San Antonio.

Gallery Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.– 3 p.m.
