American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR Training

Build the lifesaving skills every health care professional needs while earning your American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification. Designed for health care professionals and students, this course provides the training and confidence to respond in critical situations. After successfully completing the course, you'll receive your AHA BLS Provider eCard.

For students in ASU's prelicensure clinical nursing programs, the AHA BLS Provider certification fulfills the CPR requirement for clinical participation.

Capacity and rescheduling

Sessions accommodate up to 12 students each, with a minimum of 4 students to hold the training. If fewer than four students are signed up for a session within 48 hours of the training time, the session will be canceled. Any student registered for a canceled session will be offered the option to switch to another date at no additional cost or to cancel for a full refund.

Cancellation policy

If a student can no longer attend their selected session, they have up to 48 hours before class time to either reschedule for a later date (no additional fee required) or cancel their registration to receive a refund of the $60 class fee. If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of a class, no refund will be issued.

Registration

Sign up by clicking the New Registration button at the link. You will be asked to enter your contact information, select your session and pay the $60 class fee on the next few pages. A receipt and confirmation message will be automatically sent to the email address you provide.

Returning users can update their selected session by clicking the Modify Registration button.
