Flute Performance with Jonah Littlesunday

Navajo (Diné) musician, Jonah Littlesunday, has emerged as one of the most distinctive performers of the Native American flute. Inspired by themes that all human beings cherish – love, peace and unity – Jonah draws upon the solitude of his ancestral lands to create a meditative soundscape that heals the soul. Littlesunday is nationally renowned, a Canyon Records recording artist, and famously performed at Senator John McCain's funeral in Washington, D.C. Come experience the beautiful sounds and stories of Native American flute!

Desert Ecology Guided Tour

Join DVPP staff member for an engaging guided tour that will educate you about the native life in the Sonoran Desert! Learn more about native plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert as well as how indigenous people have historically survived off the desert ecosystem!

Casa Grande Ruins National Monument Informational Table

Come out and meet Ranger Preston from the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument! Learn about the site's history and what to expect visiting the National Monument. The structure at Casa Grande was once home to a community of Ancestral Sonoran Desert People and was inhabited around 1350 C.E. This monument has a rich amount of history, and is worth checking out!
