A linguist (Amy Adams) works with the military to communicate with alien lifeforms after twelve mysterious spacecraft appear around the world.
The 2016 film is based on “Story of Your Life” a novella by award-winning science fiction author Ted Chiang. Following the screening, Chiang will discuss both the story and the film and answer audience questions.
