ASU Cares 2025: San Diego Alumni Chapter

Come join fellow us for our annual ASU Cares philanthropic event, the San Diego Sun Devils Clothing Drive at Newtopia Cyder!

As a part of ASU Cares, we encourage attendees to get a head start on their spring cleaning and bring any lightly used clothing (and more) to donate to charity. All donations will benefit the Vietnam Veterans of America.

All guests who donate will receive a free coffee and pastry, but we encourage everyone to provide some extra business to Newtopia Cyder!

All bedding, draperies, curtains
Kitchenware
Small furniture and rugs
Small appliances
Tools (all kinds)
Jewelry and cosmetics

Please note: no large furniture, large appliances, or TV's accepted. We only accept items that are small and light enough for one person to easily lift and carry.

THANK YOU to Newtopia Cyder for hosting us for the THIRD year in a row! Owned by ASU alumnus Rick Moreno, this is a staple for all cider lovers in the region.
