ASU Cares Project - Portland Alumni Chapter

Join Portland Parks & Recreation staff and community volunteers in completing important ecological enhancement and clean-up projects on Powell Butte. Projects vary throughout the year and include planting and plant care, litter pick up, weedy plant removal and/or fence work. No experience necessary! Children welcome and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.

Volunteers under age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the organization's Hands On and PP&R youth waiver forms. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Bring rain gear and/or sun gear, a hat, a filled water bottle, and snacks. Bring gloves, if you have a pair that you like to use. Instruction, tools and gloves otherwise provided.

When: Saturday, March 9th from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Pacific Time
Where: Powell Butte Nature Park Visitor's Center
