ASU Dance Emerging Artists II: Frameworks of Many into the Creation of One

Event description

  • Arts and entertainment
  • Open to the public

Emerging Artists II features original choreographic work by dance graduate student Alecea Housworth.

"Frameworks of Many into the Creation of One" is a choreographic work addressing the idea of identity: Who am I? Who are you? Who are we? What's the story?

This piece explores the way we engage with the world around us as we continue to uncover self. It will showcase the intersectionality of the individual within a community and investigate the various ways we express ourselves due to the relationship of our environment.

IDENTITY is Individual Differences Expressed and Negotiated through the Transfer of Information Through Your Environment. The audience will experience frameworks and concepts that impact who they are and who Alecea Housworth is through the connection of storytelling, dance and multimedia.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Herberger Institute Box Office. There will be no in-person sales at the event. Guests who do not have a ticket at the door will be directed to purchase them online.
