Event description

  • Science

The prospect of space exploration has forever captivated the human imagination, but opportunities to do so are still limited to a select few countries despite decades of advancement in spaceflight technology and infrastructure.

Recognizing this long-standing inequity, ASU’s Milo Space Science Institute, Milo, is collaborating with a growing set of universities, research institutes and space agencies enabling countries to participate in the growing space economy by empowering scientists and engineers worldwide to actively join in the design, development and execution of space missions.

Join CSPO for this seminar with Jim Bell, Chief Scientist and Co-Founder of Milo, to learn about the institute’s founding principles, goals and collaborative methods including workforce development programs, payload investigations and potential deep space small-sat missions.
