The literature program in the Department of English at ASU is hosting auditions for a performance of scenes from "The Book of Will" by Lauren Gunderson.

The performance, set for Oct. 18 in Old Main's Carson Ballroom, is part of ASU's celebration of Shakespeare’s First Folio. This event is also part of ASU Humanities Week 2023. After the performance, actors will take part in a Q&A facilitated by Melissa Rain Anderson.

AUDITION INFO:

  • WHEN: Sept. 7, 2023 - from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • WHERE: Room 117 of Ross-Blakely Hall (RBHL), 1102 S. McAllister Ave., Tempe, AZ (Paid parking in Lot 44 or Rural Road structure). 
  • WHAT: Please be prepared to perform a one minute contemporary monologue and read from sides. 
  • WHO: All (18+) are invited to audition. 
  • CALLBACKS: Sept. 7, 2023 - from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (same day as auditions).
  • REHEARSAL PERIOD: Sept. 27 to Oct. 17, 2023
