Join us for an evening with writer, historian and curator Hugh Ryan in celebration of his new book, My Bad: A Personal History of the Queer Nineties and Beyond.  Ryan will be in conversation with Los Angeles-based author Michelle Tea to discuss how queer life transitioned from private to public in the late ’90s, reshaping fashion, personal expression and the challenges and possibilities LGBTQ people navigated in the new millennium.

Come for the conversation, stay for the book signing!

This event is part of the public programming for our current exhibition, "Obsessed: Fashion and Nostalgia in the ‘90s" open now through June 27. The gallery will be open late for this event.
