Aviation history guest speaker: Close air support combat missions with retired fighter pilot

Learn about the development of “combat close air support” and hear personal stories from Retired Brigadier General Tom Webster, a former A-10 and F-16 pilot in the US Air Force. Hear about how this mission-critical process evolved through engagement in World War I and World War II and honed in the Korean War and the Vietnam War to become a key component of today’s air-land battle team.

This event is part of Valerie Adams’ aviation speaker series in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts.
