AZCALL is a conference held each year that brings together computer-assisted language learning (CALL) enthusiasts from around the state and region to share ideas, network and receive valuable feedback on scholarly research, academic papers and major conference presentations which are in progress or preparation.

This year's AZCALL Conference is themed "Beyond Borders: Innovating Language Learning with Technology" and features talks by Lara Bryfonski of Georgetown University and Danielle McNamara of ASU. Bryfonski will deliver the opening keynote on new developments in technology-mediated, task-based language teaching and McNamara will deliver the keynote on AI-powered learning tools in language and literacy development. The conference will conclude with a workshop with Bryfonski of Georgetown on best practices for developing technology-mediated tasks.
