Infectious disease remains a g lobal health challenge. It is predicted that climate change may exacerbate the frequency of zoonotic infectious diseases, in which pathogens from animals can switch host to cause diseases in human and vice versa. Continuing the success of the 2023 BMI/BMD Affinity Network Spring Symposium on heat and health, this 2024 Spring Symposium is organized on the theme of climate change and infectious diseases. Sponsored by the College of Health Solutions, we have invited a multidisciplinary group of innovative and thoughtful scientists globally to present their work and ideas in infectious diseases, zoonoses, and climate and health.

Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees.
