Borderlands Studios Master Class and Screening Series: Rodrigo Reyes

Event description

  • Arts and entertainment

The border is at the center of America’s political and cultural conversation, yet too often, the voices of those who know it best are left out. Borderlands Studios presents a powerful new series of master classes and screenings featuring our Borderlands Visionary Fellows, four groundbreaking filmmakers whose work challenges, reimagines and reshapes how we see the connections and conflicts between north and south, past and present."

Join acclaimed filmmaker and Guggenheim Fellow Rodrigo Reyes for a master class examining his life as a filmmaker as he shares lessons and key insights from his creative process. Participants will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with Reyes during a catered reception following the master class. The evening will end with a screening of Reyes’ award-winning film “Sansón and Me” and a talkback with the filmmaker.
