The Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement (OVMAE) is seeking talented individuals to join our upcoming World War II love story play, to be performed during the OVMAE's Salute to Service event. This poignant production tells the heartwarming and compelling story of a World War II soldier and his love, a dedicated nursing student. We are particularly interested in casting student veterans for these roles.
Auditions will be held August 27-28 from 6-18 p.m. at ASU Tempe campus' J. Russell and Bonita Nelson Fine Arts Center in room 132. Please prepare a short monologue and submit your application by Monday, Aug. 26 to https://lnkd.in/gKejm-JZ or to sdeastwo@asu.edu.
Roles Available:
⭐Bill Barker, World War II Soldier (Lead Male)⭐
Description: A brave and honorable soldier serving during World War II. He is dedicated to his country and deeply in love with his sweetheart.
Age: 18-30
Characteristics: Strong, courageous, compassionate.
Requirements: Preferably a student veteran.
⭐Mary Giambrione, Nursing Student (Lead Female)⭐
Description: A resilient and loving woman studying to be a nurse, who waits for her soldier to return. She is a beacon of hope and strength throughout the play.
Age: 18-30
Characteristics: Caring, determined, supportive.
Requirements: Preferably a student veteran.
