The Power of Parenting: Supporting Children Through Crucial Transitions

A growing body of research has shown how working with parents can improve mental health outcomes for children exposed to traumatic stress, and many research-tested programs have been developed and proven effective in strengthening families' responses to traumatic stress. However, few of these existing, research-tested interventions are making it into widespread practice.

The Center for Resilient Families at the ASU REACH Institute is working to bring these research-tested interventions to families and children to promote resilience and enhance the well-being of children and families during challenging transitions.

Join us as we bring together practitioners, parents and researchers to provide a platform for sharing insights, and evidence-based practices to empower parents and professionals alike in supporting the emotional and psychological needs of children during these turbulent times. The conference aims not only to recognize the challenges that transitions bring but also to showcase effective strategies for family growth, learning and strength.
