Featured Panels
Panel Discussion: Anxiety Across Developmental Phases – What is typical and when should I be concerned? Anxiety presents differently across developmental phases, from early childhood to teens and beyond. Understanding the distinctions between typical developmental worries and atypical anxiety that may signal a need for intervention is critical for caregivers, educators, and mental health professionals. This panel brings together parents and psychologists to offer diverse perspectives on recognizing, addressing, and supporting children and teens experiencing anxiety. Panelists will discuss the developmental norms for anxiety, share personal stories of navigating these challenges, and provide evidence-based insights into early identification and intervention options.
Panel Discussion: Integrating Evidence-Based Family Mental Health Resources and Programs into Systems and Communities – Challenges and Opportunities Breakout Sessions: As mental health challenges continue to impact families, there is an urgent need to integrate evidence-based mental health resources and programs into existing systems and communities.
