The Sidney Poitier New American Film School brings together experts to discuss the power of disability inclusion, equity, and accessibility in filmmaking, in front of and behind the camera. Join DGA director Jenni Gold and the director of the 2012 documentary “CinemAbility: The Art of Inclusion” for ASU’s fifth annual panel discussion and Q&A about disabilities in entertainment, along with special guest panelists Amber Sealey, director of 2024 film "Out of My Mind," and actor Kurt Yaeger ("The Beanie Bubble," "Sons of Anarchy"). . The film will be screened prior to the discussion; for students joining remotely, the film is available to watch virtually via ASU’s Library. The event will be moderated by Poitier Film School Associate Professor Jason Davids Scott, PhD.

How to watch the film for FREE!

ASU students, faculty, and staff may watch the film free of charge on ASU’s Library streaming service Infobase here (ASURITE login is required). All other registered participants will be emailed 24 hours before the start of the ZOOM panel with a link and password to watch the film. The film is also available to rent on Amazon Video.
