  • Sustainability

Join Edward Chu, Special Advisor to President Crow for Climate and Environmental Solutions, for a conversation with EPA’s Vicki Arroyo to hear about her sustainability career journey and her leadership in shaping federal environmental policies and regulations to address climate change. We plan to discuss major regulatory actions that the Environmental Protection Agency has taken in recent years to address greenhouse gas emissions and how the unprecedented federal funding from IRA and BIL is changing the work of the federal government and opportunities to tackle climate change and other environmental issues.

Vicki Arroyo currently serves as the Associate Administrator for the Office of Policy at the Environmental Protection Agency.  She is on leave from Georgetown Law where she is a Professor from Practice.  Prior to her current service, her distinguished career includes serving as the Executive Director of the Georgetown Climate Center, directing the Pew Center on Global Climate Change’s research program and policy analysis, and leading the policy office of the Department of Environmental Quality in her home state of Louisiana.
