Community-Driven Archives Initiative Open House

Event description

  • Campus life
  • Free
  • Inclusion
  • Open to the public

You’re invited to the Community-Driven Archives (CDA) Open House! Meet our team of archivists and learn more about our services, programs and archival collections. Tour CDA’s spaces in Hayden Library including our reading rooms on the first floor and the CDA Memory Lab on the lower concourse. Activities and snacks will also be provided! Bring a friend or colleague and visit for an hour or two!

CDA develops and implements innovative solutions that address erasure and inequities in libraries. We seek to provide access to ASU Library’s archival collections, create safe spaces that encourage life-long learning and empower memory keepers. We have several unique areas of focus: Black Collections, Chicano/a Research Collection, LGBTQ+ Studies Collection, Greater Arizona Collection and University Archives.

The open house will take place on Level 1 in the Luhrs Reading Room (Room 101) and the Lower Concourse in the CDA Memory Lab (Room C55).
