Join us for an annual Día de los Muertos celebration to honor late loved ones at Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
We invite you and your families to bring a picture of a late loved one and place it on one of the altars, or ofrendas, and stay for the festivities that follow!
Festivities will include mariachi, folklórico, performances by Danza Azteca and other family-friendly activities.
Día de los Muertos, a holiday that originates in Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, honors the lives of ancestors who have passed. Celebrations include adorning ofrendas for late loved ones with marigolds, pan de muerto, sugar skulls, candles and other traditional items.
