Dispelling the Myths: Polyamory

Event description

  • Free
  • Inclusion
  • Open to the public

In 2024 it seems to be a rare occurance to come across an unprovoked mention of ethical non-monagamy, polyamorous relationships, or some form of the latter in the news or other media. In 2024 alone, numerous articles have been published by the New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The New York Times regarding the rise of polyamory. In media, polyamory is being cited in shows such as Bridgerton and movies such as Challengers.

In Dispelling the Myths: Polyamory, we aim to uncover what polyamory means to those who actually identify as polyamorous. In a World Cafe workshop style, audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a series of small group discussions with lived experience experts on polyamory to learn more about what it is and what it is not.
