Do You Dream in Color?

Event description

  • Arts and entertainment

Gallery 100 is pleased to present “Do You Dream in Color?”, a BFA exhibition that explores the idea of dreams in every sense of the word. Eight artists come together to express their dreams through their various approaches to art and show them to the world. Through ceramics, paintings, fibers, and more, these artists tell their stories and allow the world to see their deepest thoughts:

Jordan Bouts (Painting and Drawing), Soraya Burrow (Painting and Drawing), Mya Frierson (Painting and Drawing), Ashley Latin (Painting and Drawing), Madelyn Oehler (Painting and Drawing), Valeria Flores Ortiz (Expanded Arts), Noelle van Hove (Drawing), Jenna Ibanez
(Ceramics).

Many of the artists choose to employ vibrant colors to realize their dreams into the physical world, while others choose to keep a more neutral and muted palette throughout their pieces to highlight their intensity. Then there are those who use every color in between, blending them all into a great display of imagination. Regardless of the medium or palette, the works in this exhibition will showcase some of the brightest, the darkest, and even the weirdest dreams that these artists have come to experience.

The question remains, do you dream in color?
